Mick Gillis and fellow NSW RFS Fire Fighter, Jeff Jackson are fundraising to support Cancer Council NSW on their mission to defeat cancer.
Did you know 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?
In September these two Fire Fighters from the Lochinvar Rural Fire Brigade plan to undertake a trek from Tamworth to Maitland, a distance of approximately 260 Km’s. During this trek, they will be pushing a wheel barrow.
Their goal is not only to raise funds for the Cancer Council, but to raise awarness of all forms of cancer and those affected.
