The VFFA congratulates the NSW RFS after receiving a positive feedback story from one of our members.

We all know how easy it is to damage a mobile phone, it falls out of your pocket, some silly bugger sits on it, and so on…

On this occasion, a volunteer firefighter reported a damaged phone, completed the claim form and submitted it to their local Fire Control Centre (FCC).

The volunteer said:

I damaged my phone whilst on the fire ground and the repair cost was $229.50.

I put a claim through the local FCC and blow me down with in a week I received the attached letter from the insurers.

Could not ask more than that.

Email from a happy volunteer firefighter

A big thumbs up to the RFS and iCare.
