The Executive of the VFFA seeks to appoint a CEO to develop the organisation into a financially independent robust body delivering useful services to RFS Volunteers in NSW, representing their views to government, and acting as an effective agent of change to improve land management and fire management practices in the state.

We are looking for an individual with the following attributes:

  • A shared vision for the future of land management and fire management in NSW
  • A proven track record in the management of volunteer organisations
  • A proven track record in the development of services based businesses in Australia
  • Good computer literacy
  • A volunteer member of the NSW Rural Fire Service
  • Good communications skills, both verbal and written
  • An ability to work with the Executive Team with a collegiate and consultative style
